Dine at Dania Beach Pier
Situated on the Atlantic Ocean, this pier has all of the charms one would expect from a coastal location, but it also has plenty to offer for those looking for some fun in the sun. The Dania Beach Pier is open daily, and there are many different ways to spend your time here. Whether you're interested in fishing or just relaxing with your family by the water, this pier has something for everyone!
If you're not too keen on fishing (or if fishing isn't allowed at that particular time of day), then why not take advantage of some of their other offerings? The Dania Beach Pier features several restaurants along its length, so if you want some fresh seafood while enjoying views of passing ships or waves crashing against rocks below, this is definitely an option worth considering! You could even grab a bite before heading down with friends—or better yet after finishing up a day spent scuba diving near Miami's coral reefs!
Rent a boat from Dania Beach Marina
Dania Beach Marina is located on the east coast of Florida, in the heart of Dania Beach. It's the only full-service marina in town, offering everything from one of the best boat rentals in Miami and storage to marine supplies and bait. Local fishermen will tell you this is a great place to get your fishing license as well as get tips for where to fish.
If you're visiting Dania Beach with children, this is an ideal spot for them to run around; there's plenty for them to do here! The marina has a playground complete with swings, slides, and a jungle gym making this a great place for kids who need some exercise after being cooped up on a boat during their vacation at the beach!
Enjoy a meal at Quarterdeck Restaurants
With views of Fort Lauderdale Beach from its rooftop deck, this spot offers both indoor seatings as well as outdoor tables overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. They have live music every Friday night that you won't want to miss! The food here is classic American fare like burgers, sandwiches and salads (but they do have some seafood options). The bar serves food too—hand-cut steaks are popular with guests looking for something more substantial than finger foods available in other parts of Dania Beach restaurants near me like Quarterdeck Seafood Steakhouse below!
Visit the Dania Pointe Fountain
The Dania Pointe Fountain is one of the most popular features of downtown Dania Beach, FL. The fountain is located at the center of the plaza and pays homage to the area's past as a fishing village.
The fountain was built in 1992 and has been a popular tourist attraction ever since. It features a wide pool that sits in front of a large coral reef made from concrete and steel, which allows visitors to walk around it and get up close to view the sea life that has been sculpted into its surface.
The fountain also has two smaller pools on either side, featuring waterfalls and streams that lead into them from above—allowing for an interesting way to pass through without getting wet!
Get inspired at the Wiener Museum of Decorative Arts
A visit to the Wiener Museum of Decorative Arts is a must-see for dachshund lovers. The museum has a collection of antique dachshunds, and it's located on the corner of Dania Beach Blvd and Florida Ave.
The museum was founded in 1988 by Robert Haddon, Jr., who was then only nine years old. He started collecting antique dachshunds after his father gave him one as a gift—the first in what would become an extensive collection. Robert's father passed away in 1995, but he continued to build his legacy by opening the museum with his mother, Mary Haddon. Today, visitors can enjoy browsing through this family's beloved collection at any time during regular business hours (Monday through Saturday from 10:00am - 4:00pm).
The Tower of Anne Kolb Nature Center
The Tower of Anne Kolb Nature Center at West Lake Park is located at 3135 North Ocean Drive. It's open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with extended hours during the summer months.
A visit to this nature center will show you the many different animals that call Dania Beach home, including birds, turtles and snakes. You can also see an exhibit about our coastal habitats. The tower itself contains displays on environmental issues facing Dania Beach like climate change and water quality. There's even a video about how to be green!
The tower has its own gift shop where you can buy books about our local flora and fauna as well as other souvenirs such as mugs with beach designs on them (perfect for your morning coffee).
Historic Downtown Dania Beach District Tour
Downtown Dania Beach is a beautiful and bustling district that is home to many local businesses, restaurants, and more. The Historic Downtown Dania Beach District has been designated as a National Historic Landmark and is listed on both the State and National Register of Historic Places.
