Stay aboard/sail/learn with cruising family

Ever wanted to go cruising but don't know where to start or want to gain some valuable knowledge and experience? We are a small young family of 4, and we've been sailing our own vessel as a family for about 4 years now. Prior to that my husband and I sailed many other boats, owned several others, and have worked in the maritime industry for about 10 years.

We have a forward cabin for a single person or a couple. Our experience is not at all a high-class charter expérience. If you really want to know what it's like to have a boat, maintain it, use it, and do it with kids, we're the boat for you. Our boat is lived-in, it's a work in progress, it's home. You can learn about real world expenses of the lifestyle, and we are on the low end of expenses! Other boats are likely to spend much more than us. If you're thinking of doing this on your own someday but want a taste of the life, give us a shout and let's talk. We can also teach you what we know about sailing, boat systems, maintenance, navigation, etc.

We are inviting paid guests... That is, your payment goes to the boat expenses that we all share: food and fuel. We have paid for others out of our own pockets for many years now and are comfortable and feel it's fair to ask for shared contributions.
